Frequently Asked Questions

When is the best time of the day to take a multivitamin?

It is important to get into the habit of taking your supplement at the same time each day. It is important to take the supplement with/after food to minimize any modest effects on the stomach or bowel.

Always remember to take your suppƒlement with a drink in order to help it pass easily into your stomach. Water or juice are the best options. Try to avoid taking with caffeinated beverages like coffee or tea as caffeine makes it harder for the body to absorb the vitamins from the supplements. If necessary, take the supplement 30 mins before or after drinking caffeinated beverages.

You can crush the tablet and then mix the powder in a drink. A pill crusher can be purchased from a local pharmacy. Alternatively, you can cut the tablet in half along the bisect line. Try to cut the tablet evenly, as sharp ends may be difficult to swallow.

I eat well so do I really need to take a multivitamin?

Having a good overall diet may be healthy but it does not ensure you that you are consuming every vital nutrient at the optimal amount. Taking Centrum® multivitamins everyday ensures that you are bridging any nutritional gap in your diet.
